Who we are

AION2 Index (aion2index.com) is a fan-made armory and ranking site for AION 2 Global. It is not affiliated with NCSOFT. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.

Character information

Character pages show the public information NCSoft publishes on its official AION 2 character pages: name, server, class, level, combat power, item level, equipment, Daevanion boards, skills and titles. We store snapshots of it to show history and rankings. We never receive account, login or payment data from the game.

A player can ask us to hide a character: it then disappears from profiles, search, rankings and the sitemap. See Contact.

Data collected when you visit

Our hosting and Cloudflare, which delivers the site, process technical data needed to serve pages and protect the site from abuse: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time. Our own server logs are kept for up to 7 days.

We do not ask for an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses or other personal details unless you write to us.

Cookies and local storage

The site stores a few preferences in your browser (for example, which notices you closed and how many pages you viewed in this visit). They never leave your device.

Google Analytics and Google AdSense set cookies, described below. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before cookies used for advertising or analytics are set, and you can change your choice at any time.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate country, device type) and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. These statistics are aggregated; we do not use them to identify visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Advertising

The site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on those visits.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is processed only by the services named on this page (hosting, Cloudflare, Google) to run the site, measure it and show ads.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise them, or to have a character hidden, use the contact page. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
